Right-o, ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls.

I'm happy to be able to present this particular recording... it was a strange evening, to say the least, but it seems that a lot of people enjoyed it very much, and frankly that makes it a great success (last 5 minutes aside).

It's been suggested that I charge for this, in order to raise donations to the Cato Trust and donations to the Teenage Cancer Trust, in memory of a young man called Dan Squires.

I can't charge for a recording, that opens up a whole can of worms, legally speaking, and it goes against everything that going out and taping gigs means to me.

BUT, I would greatly appreciate it if before you download this show, you would take a minute or two to read the stories in the links, and to take a look at the sites for the Cato Trust and the Teenage Cancer Trust in my sig. If you feel like helping a fine cause, then please consider a donation.

Dan's story puts a whole lot of things into perspective, doesn't it? It was his funeral yesterday.

All the love and best wishes to his family and friends on what must have been a terrible day in a series of terrible days.

RIP Dan. Brave kid.

Peter finished on Albion, then the chavs started chanting the 'woah oh oh oh, oh oh' bit of I Wish, and loads of other people joined in.

Peter came back on with Mik, started I Wish, and then there was a ridiculous stage invasion, kids started grabbing Peter and dragging him about, and some of them started taking the table Peter had on stage to bits, chucking his stuff around and waving mic stands around.

Then the folks at the Royal Albert Hall turned on the lights and chucked us all out. Real shame, apparently there was a good half-hour of music left.

The date is written in the standard fashion as used by tapers, innit.

Might get round to sorting it out and uploading it as flacs, y'see.

that sounds like a pretty shit ending to a gig.



but at least we know how many (arse)holes in takes to fill the albert hall now.
