i hear how it is a great experience, meeting friends and such. i never went and fear i am too old, but i don't know if i regret it or not. i didn't really have the choice anyway.

i dropped out of college, now, 5 years later, i'm going to uni (in february?!) and i literally cannot wait! I'm going to work really hard and i'm really excited about it. If i had gone any other time it would have been a waste, I wouldn't have worked hard, I would have spent my time partying or whatever it is students do and would've wasted my time.
Just go when you really feel like you are ready (like I am!) and it will make such a difference.

yes, perhaps it will still be a good time. there will be other older people like me, after all, if i ever get the urge to go. i am glad you are looking forward to it. i just wondered about the right-out-of-school type of experience with a bunch of other young people, still excited about the world and that.

my bets mate at uni was about 24 in the first year, and reall there wasnt a lot of difference between him and us (19 year olds). everyone gets on fine once you're past the first week of nervousness
