I've stuck these songs up on our myspace for download. If anyone wants to do a better edit of White Wine post it here and I'll repost it on the myspace with all that talking cut out
It was so much fun! The whole weekend was mental but the gig was great. Managed to find and lose my harmonica and find it again and also got a few hats/pints thrown on stage which was appreciated in varying degrees!
Cheers Clakers, love that version of White Wine, better than the demo. Shame they didn't play the third track you did after going to the trouble of recording it for them.

I'm glad you think so! I was a bit worried about how they were going to sound. You basically go in and record it all live, get about two takes, can't hear what you're playing because you get no headphones or amplification or nothing then you have no control of the mixing or what take they use so it's a bit warts and all but what can you do. just go in and batter them out for a laugh i suppose.
"With promo flyers floating around the festival grounds, it's clear there is a high expectancy level for the next band on stage, Glasgow's the Down And Outs. After a quick chat with the BBC prior to taking the stage, the band is buzzing. They prove the pre-gig hype to be perfectly credible with upbeat opener Julie Andrews, followed by Forever In Your Shadow (which contains the jovial line "Well I never could pull a pint nevermind a girl"). Adorned with white shirts black waistcoats and trousers, the uniformed quartet articulate tunes reminiscent of the Beatles and the Kinks. these guys are story tellers: their song Coming Down was born out of a lost drunken night because "she put something in my glass". The timely discovery of a harmonica to compliment Easy Come, Easy Go adds to the crowd's entertainment and we are left feeling that we've seen a show as well as heard some polished tunes."
Massive picture of Clark and Fisher!! Get in - Chris is gutted. Jak doesn't even know he's in a band.... drummers
Session sounds good!
Just out of noseyness, whats going on at RAF Kinloss for you guys to play at? I'm from near there and its not often you hear of decent bands playing there, especially ones who arent local.
