Personally I'd give it to Burial - 'Untrue'.

Lightspeed Champion or Laura Marling for me. Theyre the two ive listen to the most.

I liked the Radiohead album but I dont think it was a patch on Kid A, Ok Comp, Bends or even Hail to the Theif.

SHOTTERS NATION TO WIN!!!

Pete really deserves it for putting so much effort into not trying at all.

Since The Mercury started giving the award to bands that actually sell records, it's not quite the curse it used to be. Someone shit and undeserving will win it but if Laura Marling or These New Puritans or Burial or Lightspeed Champion win, I'll be happy.

There's been a handful of decent mainstream albums in the last year. I'd go for Radiohead, Elbow, MIA or Portishead.

Laura Marling or Radiohead should definitely win it. Dunno what's with the slagging of Shotters Nation though. Might not deserve to win, but it's a lot better than some of the tripe on the list.

I'd love for Johnny Flynn to win it. There's nothing really that innovative that has come out in the last year so might as well just give it to the best album.
