| - Howdy,
Can anyone recommend any decent software?
Nothing too complex needed, i just have a video of myself at a poetry reading that i would like to cut into separate vids.
I tried using Blaze Media Pro but they gave me a 4gb video of the 2 minute edit i made, which is obviously way too big.
Thanks if you can help.

You get one free with Windows don't you.
Windows video editor or something.
Otherwise, if you can get a copy of Avid for free from somewhere, I'd suggest that.

You could try Window Movie Maker.
Pinnacle is the one me and my mates used to use. It came free with his camera. Don;t know if it's free normally though

I used the one i got earlier but had to make it mpeg rather than avi, and now the quality looks a bit shit.
Got it on youtube anyway <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/Sq-akybV15s&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/Sq-akybV15s&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

Sony Vegas is the best you can get, it's expensive though but if you look about you can find a cracked version on the torrent sites. | |
