Haha! I'd prefer to support the Paddingtons myself but it's midweek wheras the other one with Little Man Tate is on a saturday which means i won't have to take any time off work. I only have about 8 Holidays left until March or summat
Not really. If the overwhelming consenus was that the paddingtons gig would be too good a gig to miss then it would put me in a difficult situation because i can't really take the days off work. As it is, we'll probably be doing the little man tate gig but i'd prefer to do the other one.
paddingtons one would give you better exposure. i imagine there'll be a lot of scene types there, whereas the little man tate gig will be full of beery lads come in on the train from essex for the night.

little man tate are nice chaps but there music is a bit shit, there album is out around then, the paddingtons Will be a better gig, but their new stuff is equally as shit as little man tate

I think I'll be most persuaded by logistics than anything else but it's interesting to see what everyone thinks on here. I think the padds crowd would be much more cynical but would be a better night in general.
Seriously, Little Man Tate fans will probably be more open to a new band where as The Paddingtons fans will stand there in a vest and trilby ignoring the other bands because they're concentrating too much on trying to look cool. As you'll already know, it's about what the best gig for your band is, not the best night out. Your band will still exist after that night and the night in existence will be gone.

The Padds crowd would be harder for you having listened to your stuff quite a bit, LMTs crowd will love it and as has been said, that 'scene' of bands fans (the post monkeys lot) do tend to appreciate support acts more. If you were to go down better, to an equally packed venue, its gonna look better on you in the eyes of the venue for a start.

Hahaha! Some of the prices round there are almost as ridiculous as this summer's football transfers although I once bought a really nice tanglewood acoustic from Andy's and had it set up really well.. only for it to be stolen from my house.
did you have to wave the handful of notes through the door before they let you in? i find andys and music ground a bit stand offish, the best one is that old gnarled, dark green shop where the pistols used to rehearse.
