2. (if you feel you must stay at Uni cos' otherwise you'll be preceived as a failure..which you won't be of course), do as others have suggested and get out and socialise a bit more.

3. engross yourself in your studies.
At the end of the day, you have to ask yourself PRIMARILY why you're at Uni. Is it to gain a qualification, or to have a good time? If you can find a balance between the two that's right for you, you'll feel better in no time.

I'm already fucking up at uni. Out of the 5 Politics lectures I've been to 2 -- out of the 5 History lectures I've been to 4. But really enjoying English Lit although I do feel stupid alot of the time surrounded by the posh English and Americans.
Point taken. Most students have shit pretentious banter, all they seem to do is bang on about total cobblers. If I was to start gassing people students would be the first to go.
