So I'm in an internet cafe with a slow connection, needing a wash because the hot water isn't hot, wondering how the hell i'm going to start replacng 20,000 songs, most of which I didn't actually have backed up anywhere, like a fool.

I'm sure some kind hearted souls on here will upload some albums for you. Once I get my external hard drive at the end of the month I could probably upload/send a few discs of stuff to you.

that'd be good. thing is, I could probably hunt around a bit and find everything again, but some stuff was from torrents that had like 1 seeder and took days to get and other annoying things like that. Had every episode of south park on there too, and I cant see me geting those again :(

This is why I think creatives are better because once on the mp3 player they can be taken off and put elsewhere. I'm backing all my stuff up at the moment because I'm going to get a new computer in a month or two. Going to have all my music and pictures on an external hard drive.

you can do that with ipods too though, I think - as long as you back them up before having itunes installed, or something.
