Got fed up of doing the night there - stopped being fun, which was always the number one objective (as well as subjecting my music on as many people as possible which is sort of the same thing, although with a big does of ego).
Landlord was a nice guy but hard to deal with - would say one thing then contradict himself next time and ask why we hadn't done something - big screen wouldn't be working and no-one would bother telling me so I'd spend time & money going out getting dvds to show - staff changed and we always got the crap ones, especially the bar manager.
Want to do something again, probably in the New Year.
May go back there to do a one off Christmas thing as last years was excellent - or may try to do it elsewhere.
Fancy the idea of doing one-offs next year rather than something regular.
Would also like to do something somewhere with a dancefloor rather than a small corner of the pub.
