It was definitely a major factor in my choice of university - a subway on campus.
Tomorrow I'm going to get a foot long chicken teryaki.
What's the italian sub of the day on Sunday that was pretty jank.
Avoid Chicken tikka (Monday) at all costs.
I think the best sub of the day is Tuesday hands down.
Anonymous (Login grizfoot ) Re: Italian BMT No score for this post November 5 2009, 10:11 PM
Italian BMT is the best sub, it goes lovely toasted with chilli sauce also. Although don't get Subway as often anymore, the prices are a total rip-off in my opinion and would rather get a bacon butty for half the price in a cafe.

I don't get why people have sauces - you wouldn';t in another sandwich, and I like my flavour to be derived from the main ingredient.

Chunky Minestrone
FAT (g) 9.6
OF WHICH SATURATES (g) 1.8
Thai Butternut Squash
FAT (g) 8.9
OF WHICH SATURATES (g) 0.3
Chicken Laksa
FAT (g) 19.8
OF WHICH SATURATES (g) 11.2
Any low fat six inch sub on average has less fat, and saturated fat than those three delightful soups. Obviously my comparision is only on Fat and saturated fat.
If you avoid the Chicken Laksa, they're not too bad but at the same time it doesn't warrant the damnation of low fat subways!

I think this highlights the ignorance of your comments regarding your own food choices, and subway
As I'm feeling kind, you can have some more free dietary advice.
You should avoid the following fantastic soups;
Broccoli and Stilton
FAT (g) 16.4
OF WHICH SATURATES (g) 9.9
Cauliflower and Cheese
FAT (g) 31.9
OF WHICH SATURATES (g) 18.9
Cream of Corn
FAT (g) 30.4
OF WHICH SATURATES (g) 18.4
Goan Potato
FAT (g) 16.4 4.1
OF WHICH SATURATES (g) 9.2
Slow Roasted Tomato
FAT (g) 24.4
OF WHICH SATURATES (g) 14.5
Sweet Potato and Chilli
FAT (g) 18.1
OF WHICH SATURATES (g) 11.7
Chicken Pot Pie
FAT (g) 16.4
OF WHICH SATURATES (g) 7.5
Chicken, Leek and Bacon Risotto
FAT (g) 23.9
OF WHICH SATURATES (g) 13.2
Texan Chilli Con Carne
FAT (g) 17.7
OF WHICH SATURATES (g) 8.6
Sadly the majority not posted had about 5-7 grams of fat each and 4-5 saturated fat, which again is more than footlong low fat sub.

It's important to reduce the total amount of fat we eat. All of our eight low fat Subs contain less than 3g of fat per 100g, making them a great choice if you're trying to be good. Even better, you don't have to compromise on taste.

Subway is the sandwich equivalent of McDonalds, it's fake, full of salt and sugar, expensive and often disappointing. Yet you still go back again and again and enjoy it in a guilty pleasure sort of way.
