myspace is still king for finding girls who you only know their first name and what city they're from.

it has a browse friends by post code, whereas facebook doesn't.

once you've found them on facebook there will be at least one of their friends who reveals their full name which will eventually lead you onto their facebook...

when I packed it in I am pretty sure I had maybe 300 friends. I now have, like 47, most of whom have not logged in since 2007

If only people in bands use it then whats the point? The worst thing about it was all the bands that add you.

'Free as a Bird' by The Beatles coming out of the Screw's transistor radio from the landing below.
"Turn it up Guv" I begged.
He turned it down.
"Whats that Doherty?"
"Can you turn the radio up please Guv".
"Listen to him, will ya, he thinks he at the Camden Palace, this is Scrubs mate".
"It's called Koko's now you fat northern cunt" I mutterred under my breath. -
"No" came a voice from the next cell "its definitely Scrubs".

Nah it's not good to be 'friends' with bands on there, but it's a good place to find out more info about newer bands. You get to hear some of their songs, see upcoming tour dates, a link to their website, whathaveyou.

I find it better than Facebook Pages as far as bands go. When I want to check out a band I've heard about, it's still the first place I go. But of course you don't even need to be logged in or have an account to listen to bands' MySpace pages.
