Nah, I quite like them when their tunes are up tempo. They've got about two or three songs I can listen to and the rest are just bland.

I don't think shite is really fair. It's not exactly going to worm it's way onto my ipod, but for a singalong pop song it's ridiculously catchy and well made. It's a victim of it's own success too - being played in every low rate venue with a vomit-stained carpet from here to there.

I was chatting with a friend who also comes on here incidentally, about music and stuff over a pint of ale. He was lamenting his lack of knowledge in Northern Soul and I said that he should dig out your list because it was one of the most comprehensive compilations I've ever seen on the subject and one I listen to pretty much every day. It should be released (I don't know if you ripped it from an actual record and I missed the drift). But yeah, quality work, need to dig it up as I only have 1-300 on the ipod, need the rest... cheers for that.

Aha Shake Heartbreak and Because Of The Times were good albums actually Aha Shake Heartbreak is fucking great. The new one was fucking awful lowest common denominator rock that U2 fans like. I do like Closer though.
