Has anyone heard of this band? I got the EP by them called Summertime! mainly because of the song Let's Go Surfing which is just fucking amazing:

yeah, theyre ok. half of their live show is mimed though. i cant get over that. how the fuck are they gonna play brixton or somewhere when they mime guitar, bass and keyboards?!

They mime?? That's a bit weird. I havent heard them but I can't believe they're that good. I saw a copy of their "summertime!" EP in HMV recently. I'm tempted to buy solely it in case it ends up rare...

Its sad that nice bands like Girls lose out to people downloading there music illegaly. I dont blame anybody. Its just how I feel.

FYI just listened to that band The Girls and thought they were just bland to say the least (bit pussyish) - have I got the right band? If so I'm not bloody suprised that people would rather download over buying and maybe you should stop bitching.

i like the girls album muchly, missed them live as i was on hol.. but i saw the drums playing the night and day at in the city, i thought they were a big let down live personally.

Dutch uncles really showed them up, and they have just been announced as tour support for bombay bicycle club.
