problem with that is it forces use of the compiler version

it is possible to adapt the code to work in qbasic interpreter instead. of us, only michael knows how. and that version is probably the one that works in 98 only, since he doesn't use xp.

in any case i don't know where he put it. imo it would be a small tragedy but one nonetheless to force the person running it to use quickbasic vb qbasic just for a clipboard routine. this is why i no longer have that feature in my tutorial project.

p.s.

alternatively there is a program one can download to work with the clipboard. it can be shelled to... but that is more trivia than a solution to this i think.
