Mac, need info...by PeteAbout that Window(cmd$) What are the contents of the window? 1) Text so short it can fit even in a small window 33% of the screen 2) Text message that will probably need to be scrolled. ------------------------------------- If #2, do you invision this text stored as: 1) A text file. Example MESSAGE.TXT 2) As pre-coded strings like msg1$, msg2$ Example: msg1$ = "Hi, you are about to play chess without a clue as to what you are doing, but it will be fun, trust me!" 3) As DATA fields. DATA "Hi, you are about to play chess without a clue as to what you are doing, but it will be fun, trust me!" ------------------------------------- Knowing which way to code this would save some time. If scrolling is needed, arrays or a RA file would be the best way to go. If the text message will always be just 10-20 words, the only thing that is needed is the largest message, so the window size can be set to that. I cannot say for sure I can volunteer for this sub but these details would help me in making that decission. Without them, I'm afraid the sub might exceed my 10-minute rule.
