Seems to me it's always the same areas of road which get flooded then ditched out every spring.
Granted, it's not spring right now....just feels like it...
but just like in the spring, the Roads troops are out there ditching to prevent flooding, and always in the same spots.
Really makes you wonder why they don't just replace all those specific washed-out culverts that aren't draining properly.
Might save a few taxpayers' driveways from being washed out every year too.
Myself? I'm embarassed to have people visit in the spring, or even drive by my house, thinking my mud-slop of a driveway is somehow due to my neglegence or inability to afford gravel.
Truth be known, I won't pay for the gravel to be dumped until the culvert is repaired down the road from me.
Despite having requested this repair long long ago, it still hasn't be done.
Frustrating to say the least.
