Free snow removal?

As the rest of us seem to be out pushing and shoveling all this wonderful winter snow, the question I ask myself is "how do I get free snow removal like some local residents in town?" As I've witness (and I'm sure some others have) Why a long term township employee can go on private property and remove snow from driveways, side of buildings and front lawns and other employees driveways. MY tax dollars are paying for there use of the equipment to do certain areas. How do I get on the list? I wouldn't mind a little help! Has anyone else seen this? Maybe I should call the township or the reeve to sign up.

I think that just about everyone that does not have property in Sprucedale has noticed.

Removing snow from private property is in my opinion the responsibility of the individual property owner.

But then, just maybe, there is a logical reason for doing the snow removal. Maybe Council can explain and while doing so, maybe you could also touch on why your not doing the same for the people in the Village of Bearlake?

Oh darn I'm still going to have to do my own driveway since I don't live in either of these locations.

When the township employees need to get out of their driveways at three o'clock in the morning to plow roads then they might need a little help getting out of the three feet of snow that is in their driveway. Otherwise no ones roads will get plowed.

first- the message did not mention the employees doing their own driveways to get out to get to work. See original message! Second- who said it was happening at 3:00 in the morning? I have witnessed this happening at 11:00 in the morning! Gee...a family ya think???

Ya, I tend to agree with you.The original message didn't say anything about 3 in the morning. Someone is trying to defend the situation. It just confirms that not only does it happen at 11:00 someone also moonlights before going to work or while working on their regular shift. Wow, I wonder if anything will be done about this?

It's nice to see a new activity in Sprucedale "Peeping Tom" since the other activity of "gossiping" has been going on in the Sprucedale since it was created.

Is there anything else to do in Sprucedale? It has to be one of the most boring places in Ontario.
