| - "Even the death of Friends will inspire us as much as their lives. They will leave consolation to the mourners, as the rich leave money to defray the expenses of their funerals, and their memories will be incrusted over with sublime and pleasing thoughts, as monuments of other men are overgrown with moss; for our Friends have no place in the graveyard."
Henry David Thoreau - Philosopher
Old'Jimmy, your stories of worldly experience, studies and views on philosophy, and appreciation of life's beauties, will live with us all forever.

How true are these words you speak! Too often the simple things in life are taken for granted. Jim was a man of many words and many experiences. I don't know anyone around here who wasn't touched in some way by his words of wisdom and colorful yet true stories. Such an interesting man will be sadly missed and thought of often. Thank you for your insightful words. Rest in Peace Sweet Friend. | |
