YOUR VOTE IS IMPORTANT!
You may have heard that the Royal British Legion Club wish to disaffiliate themselves from the Royal British Legion therefore becoming a private club.
At present ALL membership fees (currently (£12) are sent to the Royal British Legion in London with nothing being retained at Branch level. This money is needed by serving and ex-servicemen costing approx. £40m per year. The loss of revenue would therefore by at the detriment of these men and women.
Members will shortly receive a voting form and we would urge you to vote against this move. The Royal British Legion has always had strong support from Kirkbymoorside residents, please use your vote to enable this to continue.
