Canadian in Toronto, Ontario searching family roots

Hello and bonjour to all!

According to my mother, she has several family links to the region starting as far as living memory will provide. My great, great grandfather Thomas Leng was married to Mary Teasdale. One of their offspring, Job Leng, was my great grandfather born January 22, 1893 in Kirbymoorside. Job married Blanche Ward, my great grandmother, born July 11, 1890 of Farndale. Her parents were William Ward and Mary Richerson. I only have a vague memory of my great grandparents.
However, their offspring were Kathleen, Kenneth, Roy and Eric Leng, who was my mother's father. Eric was born Nov. 11, 1921 and raised in Skelton and Guisborough. He later married Eleanor Gale in Kingsville, Ontario, Canada, daughter of Frederick Gale. Not much is known of Frederick Gale's family as he was orphaned at Bernardo House with his brother.
Eric Leng sailed the "Montcalm" with his brothers, sister and parents (Job and Blanche) to Quebec, Canada on May 6, 1928. They settled in Kingsville, Ontario. Eric and Eleanor Leng raised a family of 2 boys (Terry and Richard) and 5 girls (Linda, Pamela, Penny, Connie and Tina). Linda, my mother, married Edward Melton and raised me (Trent) along with my three brothers (Tracy, Trevor and Tige).
My father's family name is Melton but I have fewer details and am not sure of the region in England yet.
I know that my mom wants to visit someday so if there is any family she would love to stop by for tea.
Sincerely,
Trent Melton
