Has anyone information on the Woardby name c1800 in and around the Kirkbymoorside area please

my grandma woardby lived and went to school in gillamoor near kirkbymoorside in early 1900s.

I am one of the last Woardby,s to my knowledge, i have a son Called Lewis who i believe is the last Male Woardby.
I would be very interested in what family history you have on the woardby name.
My great grandad was called Wilson Woardby and sertved in the police force in Scarborough but i have no information before that , he retired from the police in 1899

Your greatgreat Grandfather was Wilson Woardby and his wife was Sarah Jennings.The last I new of him in the Police force was at his son Thomas's wedding in 1907,he died in 1915
