Hello everyone. Thought I would input to this site by saying I thought that klub kali was great this past friday 20/12/02. I loved the performances, especially the one with the two indian boys dancing to madonnas justify my love, both of them looked so FINE, are they a couple? I would like to have a piece of either one of them. They were both very sexual. Does anyone know their names? I would like to be in touch. All in all my friends and I had a gr8 night. Keep up the good work. Goodluck to everyone and see you at the next one.

Yea it was a sexually charged dance, but it was artistic at the same time. I thought the bloke without the shirt looked a lot like the guy from Bombay Dreams.

Well I must say i was very disappointed with the performance..
The first one which Vipul dance oh my god.. he is usually good but i must admit that one was a FLOP.. Honey ur dance was really out of tune..Sorry to say that but thats true.. many people we boooiinng downstairs...Think it would have looked much nicer if u did make n effort and wear a proper costume n also some Goonroos...but u did ok...

But definitely Vipul i couldnt believe my eyes n my friends also said the same thing.. That dance with Sunny was so Fxxx Sleazy.. disgusting and horrible..really downgrade ur status.. what the hell were u thinking of doing such things..Yukkk How could Rita allow such thing..

Oh yeeahh Bombay Dreams... my ass.....

The third performance was the real Bombay Dreams..

Sorry yaar its speaking the truth,...

People force themselves to applaude u guys not to disappoint u on the stage...

I disagree, I loved the performance. Vipal did very well, is very attractive indeed. He's had a unique way of dancing and did it very well. The one with the back less t-shirt Sonny, I've seen him dance on stage many times before and he looks very sexy, and moves sooo well. There was a great contrast between their dance styles, but they both came together very well. How brave of them was it to do a performance of that nature while one of then was 'taken'. Good luck to them both. Hope to see you both on stage again some time soon.

Regarding the comment about the performance being F*** sleasy, how else would you have liked them to dance to such a great song as 'Justify My Love'. Stay positive. I think Vipal and Sonny did really well.

I dont wanna be a bitch but i dont know why you force me

I think vipul and sunny did really well

I dont agree with your soo called TRUTHFUL COMMENTS.

if you are a performer then you should respect anothers performance and if your not then should def keep your mouth shut cos you aint got the guts to do it.

I bet you cant even keep your feet in time with a clock for get music.

If you think they were too sleazy then i think you should go to a mandir every other friday night because kali is a gay club where we can be open and ourselves and not have to worry about ppl like you who think they are an avtar of god himself

sleaze when you want to but its a crime if some1 else does

i dont wanna offend but you really know how to push ppls buttons

keep up the good work kali

and good performance bhombay dreams sunny and vipul

well done sexy boyz

December 26 2002, 10:51 PM

Congratulations to Sunny n' Vipul, it truly was an enjoyable dance, I am always up for watching two sexy indian boyz on stage gettin' it on, even if you did have some clothing on. The chosen trackz were good too. Am I right in thinking the one Vipul danced to was from Dil To Pagal Hai? One of my mates told me it was, but I have the soundtrack and it does not seem to be on there. someone HELP! Wheres it from?

Vipul & Sunny were great. Thee crowd loved it. Whatever anyone does at Kali there will always be some twisted queen who is so bitter and jealous that it feels it has to leave anonymous bitchy messages because it can't deal with it's own jealousy. Those comments say nothing about the performance but more about the state of mind of the author.

Constructive critiscm is fine but what was said in that message seeps bitterness with not a trace of anything remotely resembling anything constructive. The dancing WAS in tune. The second dance was totally different from the first and very sensual. Perhaps the tempo was a bit slow for that time of the evening but the movements captured the sexiness of the song. What's this shit about people forcing themselves to applause the dancers so as not to embarass them? How do you know why other people were clapping for? Can you read their minds? I and my friends were in the audience and we clapped cos we liked them. Do you really think anyone believes that twisted freaks like you would have the politeness to clap because you didn't want to offend anyone? So when you going to show us that you can dance better? Bearing in mind you haven't got the guts to put your own name on your messages, I suppose there is fat chance of that.

Ez now. Personally my m8s and I thought both were fcuking FIT. The one with his back showing was very sexual, you could tell from the look on his face that he'd be good in bed. If only he was st8 or bi or single.

keep hating, it must be hard when your so jealous of someone that you have to result in posting comments about them on this forum. Sunny, if your read this, don't take it to heart, the person just wants to be like you and must be very envious, take it as a compliment. We love you and Vipul. Keep it up, I love seeing you on the stage.

Sunny & Vipul

U were both gr8. So good you got up the noses of some real jealous queens. That's a sign of how good you were.

It's a really sad fact of gay Asian life that you will get some nasty people who can't bear not getting any attention because they are totally talentless. They go home after Kali and just stew in their own bitter juices until they are so sour thay have to write nasty, totally non constructive hatred here. Maybe that's their way of coping. Pretty sad.

You twisted bitter fuckers. I know who Sunny is and his dancing is cool. I'm not saying that cos he is a good friend cos I never spoken to him. There are plenty of bad dancers in Kali but you don't mention anyone else.

You say: 'i'm really not here to hate....just to enlighten.' Honey what so fucking enlightening about displaying your neurosis and hatred on line?Your message is pure hate, period. You may not like his dancing, fair enough but why get nasty and personal talking about his mother/granmother? What's that got to do with dancing? Anyone reading your e-mail can tell you have some serious issues. This is not about Sunny but you. Your e-mail is about deliberately targeting Sunny as a person, not his dancing that's just an excuse.

Want some enlightenment? Then start asking yourself some serious questions? Why are you so bitter and vicious? Why are you so hateful? Why aren't you getting some therapy? Why aren't you on medication? Why do you go to Kali? -cos we don't want any nasty fuckers like you around there.

... oh stuff

January 14 2003, 2:20 AM

Hello,

Firstly, many thanks to those who've shown appreciation to mine and Sunny's performance ... it's great to know that Club Kali is supportive of gay Asian performing arts. Also, that a positive and healthy attitude can be shown to 'promoting' the sensual and sexual energy/art of gay Asian men and women. I understand and appreciate that the performance was not to the liking of some members of the audience, but it's difficult to please everyone. not everything in life can be liked by everyone ... entertainment is entertainment, whether it's good or bad... but for the the first time, and please correct me if I'm mistaken, NEVER ever have two guys danced in such homoerotic 'style' ... the point of our performance was that in general Asian men are not shown/advertised/promoted to be sexual and/or sensual and/or desirable alone or with each other. This is the point of questioning and/or stating the justification of love ... what does it take? A touch, a look? Maybe more, or nothing! If the performance 'appeared' to be disgusting or sleazy then it's all in the eye of the beholder. We're all different, and thus it's expected that our views will be different. Sex, or intimacy, or the activies of seeking (self-)pleasure can be anything and everything. it's all different for all of us. But anyway ... thanks for all feedback. (nb. to the guy that wants the music I danced to from Dil to Pagal Hai, I'd be happy to make a copy for you.)

OK. My point of my posting. I had to say something as what is said on this site is beyond my understanding of human behaviour and respect in this world. Sunny Lochab is one cool guy. I can shout out that he's my great friend. Sunny is a sweet and gentle person. One who is considerate and sharing. He's supportive and understanding. He's generous. He's smart and he's creative. His artistic. And he's expressive. And he's cute. Above all, he's down-to-earth and warm-natured, and always smiles - one very optimistic individual. And for the record, a wicked dancer. This is the Sunny I know. It's very sad that vindictive, abusive, and digusting language is posted on this site towards another individual. This site is not desgined to post such personal views.

What is Club Kali all about? It's a centre, a community, an opportunity, a celebration, to embrace, to honour, to respect alternative sexualites of the South Asian community. It's diverse range of races, cultures and personalities clearly indicates that Club Kali is a rare place in London, and on this planet. Where minorities together can be themsleves, be comfortable and safe, be happy by being themselves and as individuals and be joyous all at the same time. People are just people, we've not been designed to be like one another, and that's a great thing. If we can't appreciate/understand/respect what we have, who we're with, who we are, or who other is then what's the point of there being a place like Club Kali?

Only recently have i learnt of this site's existence (funnily enough Sunny told me to check it out). My initial thought that it was cool to have an on-line interaction 'centre' ... but later found it shocking and disturbing that there are some people in the crowd that i see from my cloakroom that could be so cruel and bitter towards each other. From where I am, my perspective is that all of you are enjoying yourselves, you're free, you're together, you're dancin' ... talking ... there's excitement i see, and fun that's living for those few hours Club Kali is on twice a month. I enjoy being in the cloakroom because of this. I don't know many of you but I do know that you all are a great bunch of people, who are all very pleasant and greet me warmly.

I've said more than enough, and will be surprised that if any of you get this far. All I ask, is why does it have to be this way? The world is hard place to be in, don't let this eden, which is ours, be destroyed by us. I'm being very idealistic only because I know it's possible.

Take care and enjoy, and looking forward to seeing you all soon!

V

Re: ... oh stuff

January 14 2003, 8:01 PM

Well said Vips. Don't get too disheartened. The negative stuff on this site, is from a minority. They're the ones with a (BIG) problem, not their 'victims'. As a performer and someone with intelligence, what weight do you put on such inarticulate, non constructive comments? They don't deserve any weight because, it's not critiscm that is constructive in any way.

As many people have said on this site, your and Sunny's performance was great. If some people don't get it either because they are jealous, bitter or not bright enough to appreciate it - that's their problem.

Can we have another performance soon - PLEASE!!
