I agree with the idea that you don't pick a kid out of nowhere (Little league) and simply grant him an opportunity to START over kids who have worked their career at pitching. Not the right thing to do. I hope that they don't lose more kids due to this type of decision-making. If the pitching staff is so deep why start your starting SS on the bump? Other members on the pitching staff could take this the wrong way as well.
