The best players in pa are not going to Pitt! As to Jordano's record--if any team played the patsies he plays year in and year out as a pre-season they would also have a wonderful winning record. This is where Wine is making a mistake with PSU, he plays too many outstanding teams in OOC and the team has trouble rebounding for wins. Pitt's outstanding pre-season OOC schedule includes powerhouses: Youngstown State (loss), Virginia Tech (joke in the conference), St. Joseph's (2x), Lehigh, Lipscomb (DII or III, and lost), Belmont (DII or III-joke and lost), Sacred Heart (3x). Now as to ND, they are NOT very good this year with a new coach no less. In fact, their powerhouse schedule included loses to: Sacred Heart, Harvard (are you kidding me?), Texas State, Iowa (killed them 8-1), Florida Gulf Coast CC (where Yodice is from), Central Michigan, Cincinnati (lost twice). Lousiville, you guessed it, here are there powerhouses: Northwestern State, Stetson (Lost 2x), Morehead State, Murray State, Illinois State, Indiana State, Kent State (Loss!), Xavier, don't think I need to go on. PITT AIN'T IT!!! I'm not saying PSU is great. Wine better start winnning. But to play the OOC schedule he puts together and then go into B10 play is nuts. Those guys are so down by the time the schedule rolls around they can't pull their heads from their arse. That needs to change. Hopefully, Wine realizes that and next year will be a more Pitt-like OOC and we can soak up some patsies. Jordano has done this for years. Their field sucks and they get 0 fan support. Pitt is not a better program and we've beaten them the last 2 years which tells me all I need to know.
