In the end, the players have to deliver

You know...this board is all about coach bashing...Hindelang, Ford, Ramsey and now Wine. In all fairness, despite Hindelangs knack for little league 1st and 3rd base running plays AND his uncontrollable waving arm in the 3rd base coaching box encouraging baserunners to round the corner only to get nabbed at the plate by 5 feet, his teams won the only Big-Ten title, went to the Super Regionals and advanced to the Big Ten tourney a majority of the time after winning the Big Ten tournament, but what do we say when this happens....the PLAYERS won these games despite the coach. Believe me, these teams were NOT loaded w/ guys from FL, CA, TX, OK, Juco's and wherever else, infact there were a # of walk-ons that more than contributed (all from the NE)to the efforts.

So is it the players or the coaches???

Bottom line is these guys, w/ or w/o Wine's coaching 'expertise' have to get some confidence and string along some wins. I understand that coaches can be blamed for a few losses during the season, but to chalk up Wine as the sole reason is a little irrational.

Oh...and PITT and there coach is NOT the best team in PA, give me a break.
