thanks for clarifying the recruiting process. So, Wine's recruiting class is in it's sophomore season and we're going to start running him out of town b/c they couldn't win against some elite pre-bigten talent? He needs atleast another 2 years before one can judge his recruiting and coaching efforts. You can't expect every recruit to come into a program and make significant contributions right out of the gate (fresh/soph years).
I do partially agree w/ your statement about developing/coaching and their lack of 'developing' a player into a legitimate power hitter. Oklahoma State is known for producing some bigtime power hitters including the all-time HR leader in Pete Incaviglia...can we continue this philosophy here at PSU?! Are they getting away from this philosophy or can these guys only take it deep in BP? 8 total HRs this season thru 26 games??
