From what i hear, the freshman class looks pretty good with a catcher from Norht Carolina, outfielder from Georgia, i believe some pitchers from our area to name a few. A couple of proven Juco's each year is not a bad way to augment your freshman class each year, especially for us "up north" teams.
With any high recruit, you stand a chance loosing a recruit to the draft, but hopefully the coach's have a good feel for the how the kid is leaning. Our Juco's this year have had a very positive impact. Deese, has been very good, and getting better as our daily third baseman. Stobart is putting a lot of innings as our 3rd starter (and with Wynner and Gaf not throwing, he's much needed and appreciated). He has a ways to go, but has been contributing in a very positive manner. O'Neil has been awsome in the closing spot, and I believe he is a Redshirt Sophmore, so he still has 2 more seasons of eligability.
