Hi.
>> How deep
IS the Yuan-Ti dungeon? So far I've been playing with no reloads UNLESS entire party is descimated and it's been helluva lot of fun, but I'm wanting to make some definite exceptions here. I'm on my upteenth dlvl in this silly dungeon and fresh out of Raise Dead scrolls, and one thing is damn sure: I am NOT going to march up eighty dlvls just because somebody kicks the bucket and needs a res.<<
Hehe, Dragon's Eye is probably the toughest place in the whole game, considering your clvl. As was mentioned already, dlvl 5 is the last, however .... get ready for the toughest fight in the game, heh.
>> So, how deep IS that place?
It started out with a Lizard Man/Spider dlvl, then progressed to a Troll/Lizard Man level, then went on to a undead dlvl full of Wights and such, then went to this level with a bunch of clergy folks who my paladin confronted immediately as fakes and brought the whole place down upon us, and NOW we're on some dlvl chuck full of Yuan-Ti...<<
Never let your Pally talk to weird strangers.
>> 5 levels? 5 and nothing resembling a vending machine for res scrolls. Does it go deeper? I had to stop before fully clearing 5... so many Yuan-Ti...<<
You know that you can't rest on 5 ... you have to go to 4 and ask the party you rescued to watch over you ... you did rescue them, right ?
>> Oh, and will a Druid ever be able to cast Raise Dead? Or is that a Cleric-only spell? <<
I've never played a Druid in IWD or any other IE games, but iirc, he does
not get Resurrect. I'm about 90% sure.
The good thing is that you're going to Severed hand after this, which for me was relatively easy and always fun.
<Small spoiler>
Get your thief ready for some trap disarms, around the last room.
