Response to Hmm Hmm...

Now I have three BG2 parties going. Well, two parties and one "evil little halfling!"

Party 1 is my Monk's party. Things were going well, until I realized the most recent save of the party was the autosave (!) which was saved over when I played my Halfling later that day. Monk party *was* at Brynnlaw, heading up to the Asylum via the footpath after doing the prostitute quest and taking the wardstone from Perth the Adept. Monk party is *now* standing outside of the Twisted Rune building ready to go in and bash some heads ... again. (Luckily Bodhi's group was already dealt with. This was their last stop before they went to Brynnlaw.)

Party 2 is the party of "Classes I want to play but don't have enough time to make a new party for each." So I've got my Archer (Protagonist), Totemic Druid, Sorcerer, Swashbuckler, Skald, and Barbarian. They just stepped into Ch. 2. I'm quite enjoying the customized biographies. Backgrounds make the characters more fun.

Floaty: Archer, Elf, Female, Neutral Good
Not much here yet. Need to figure out a good reason why she's partied with a Drow.

Mugh: Totemic Druid, Human, Male, True Neutral
Mugh driven out of his hometown to live in the woods after his relationship with the local Earl was made public. He became a druid to live in harmony with the non-judgemental natural world. Later, when his travels brought him to Cloakwood, he was captured by the insane Shadow Druids who were conducting an inquisition in the area. Rescued by Floaty & Co., he joined the party to assist in restoring balance to the Sword Coast. But as an added bonus, he gets to be in-party with a Half-Orc who's drop dead gorgeous.

Sanin: Sorcerer, Elf (Drow), Male, Lawful Evil
(Not sure about this one, but came to mind.) Was once lover to Sendai. It ended she learned of her Bhaalspawn heritage.
She aspired to be a god and rejected Lolth to fulfill her destiny. Sendai left the Underdark, encouraging Sanin to come with her. But Sanin's fear of crossing Lolth came before his lust for flesh. Still, when news of Sendai's heresy reached the Underdark Sanin was held equally accountable. His sentence was unusually lenient: Find Sendai, return to her good graces, and kill her when her guard is down. Sanin, though convinced there is more to his punishment than the task of murder, decided the best way to kill a Bhaalspawn was with a Bhaalspawn - and so began his partnership with Floaty.

822: Swashbuckler, Gnome, Male, Neutral Evil
Accidentally rescued from the Abyss during the summoning of the Tanar'ri in Ulgoth's Beard. (Tanar'ri was clutching him when it was summoned. BG1: TotSC) Driven half-mad by the demon, the Gnome was brought under control after Sanin placed a geas on him. Unable to resist direct orders, and after much tinkering to restore his mind, 822 is mildly in control of himself now. While he enjoys the Drow's evil nature (which he, too, shares), he resents the geas.

Rjori: Skald (Hippie), Half-Elf, Female, Neutral Good
Bizarre mix of Elven and Halfling heritage. Stature is shorter than an elf, taller than a halfling. Facial features obviously elven, but always-bare woolly feet undoubtably Halfling. Smokes weed and sings protest songs to inspire comrades in combat. Mysteriously "acid" resistant.

Garro: Barbarian, Half-Orc, Male, Lawful Neutral
Half of him is Orc. The other half... unknown. What is readily evident is that he's the most beautiful person to walk the Sword Coast in years, which lends some credibility to what diviners have told him: Possible celestial blood. But what Deva would consort with an Orc is an even greater mystery.

Party 3 is my "evil little Halfling!" Female Neutral Evil Assassin, with a touch of Vampirism. (i.e. Rather than Vamp Touch/Larloch Drain being Bhaalspawn abilities, they're her way of feeding.) She's in Act 2, but has done most of the outdoor areas. (Didn't visit Thax'llyssillyia yet, but did the rest.) She's been chronicling her evil deeds via user journal entries, which is such a great way of remembering them!
