Response to Questions, part 2

For the cloak of the wolf and Algornons cloak, use the use item properties button. It looks like a bag. Right next to your potion quick slots.

As for the Robes of the Archmagi. They have a very high AC for a robe, resistance, they are quite nice. IIRC they also have an unlisted bonus to saving throws.

Now as for the other robes.

If you wear a robe of fire resistance, you can do dangerous stuff like cast fireball right on top of your mage when he might get swarmed. I know, never let him get swarmed, but, hey, it happens. And, there are more uses.. If you equip other fire resist items, like a certain ring, and, use protection from fire scrolls, fire damage will actually heal you.... Little known fact if you raise your fire resist, or any resist for that matter over 101%, yes, I typed that correctly, at exactly 100% nothing happens, you take no damage. Over 101%, any fire damage heals you. So a 6D6 fireball would actually heal 6D6 damage to your mage. This can prove useful for some fights in BG, probably more so in BGII and beyond. There is nothing so scary as a mage casting fireballs right on his own head, getting pounded by some evil pest, getting healed, and slowly wearing stuff down.
