I have been rolling this over in my mind for a while.
The Priest of Helm looks most apealing, with the Seeking Sword and True Sight. I have given it some thought and when I do it, I plan to allow a sling. One sling in particular, the Sling of Seeking. (I can't get the bonus merchants to work for some reason) With priestly spell buffs to get str up to 25, I will be able to dish out damage from a distance.
Since Helm sees all, clothes are really not needed. They are only there to hide shame, and, no shame can be hidden from Helm.
Now, as for the race. I could import one of my many BG characters, but, I don't think I will. I think I will try out a Half Orc. I might go fighter cleric, or, just straight cleric. Fighter cleric can't be a Priest of Helm, but, has some other advantages, like more hit points from a 19 con.
Party members wont be there, with one exception. Imoen only. I will lose her for a while, but, I think I will keep her after the rescue. She is after all, the sisterly figure, and, probably the only person who will ever feel any sort of love or kinship for a Half Orc
Hmm I wonder if Half Orcs can be Cleric Thieves. I can't seem to remember.
