Stats, if you remember, are 19s in everything except for int, which was 15, and wisdom, which was 20. Yes, I took him through SoA, not quite solo. He took Aerie along for the ride, rescued Imoen, and took her along as well. He um, pretty much smashed anything in his path. Using clerical buffs, and, Aerie hasting him, he was a holy terror. Armed with Crom and the FoA, he played in pure smashmouth style.
Don't use maces in BG1. Use Bassilus' hammer. Nice +2 model with electrical damage. Full plate is nice, but, stealth can be vital for some areas, use Sanctuary if you can, but, that takes up a precious spell slot.
