Why limit yourself to just BG? There are many other possibilities for soloing besides just Baldur's gate 1. I know that it is possible for every class/kit in BG2 to solo. (Even the wimpy wizardslayer). What I wonder about is IWD, is it possible to solo that? The major obstickul seems to be the final battle which might present some problems to the solo player. Everything is magic resistant. You face three tough melee opponents, one of whom you must defeat. There are many dispel traps. You'll have reached the level limit long before.
Has anyone successfully soloed IWD? I did it once with 3 characters (A Druid/Fighter, a Thief/Fighter and a Mage). I've never played IWD 2 but that could be another possibility for soloing. This is making me want to play IWD again, maybe I'll try a dual classed Fighter/Mage or a Fighter/mage/thief.
