Response to Or (Shade, READ THIS!)

The original plan is that RBQFS takes place after ep. 107. At the speed we turn out MiSTings, that's about a year and a half of work. If we start RBQFS a year and a half before we write the events that precede it, we open ourselves to continuity errors on the level of Enterprise.

There are ways to avoid that, though:

1) Before we officially start up RBQFS, we make an outline. Said outline will list the major story elements of the Lance Arc, and will also list the mandatory cast members of each of the three episodes.

2) As we write RBQFS we *LIMIT THE DAMN EXPOSITION!* We don't need the first few chapters to be summaries of eps. 101-107. Besides, there's a lot of stuff that happened (or will happen in the Lance Arc) that the characters will probably want to forget.

If references to the MiSTings have to be made, stick to the completed episodes, finalized skits, the outline, and make the comments as vague as possible. As for character interaction, what was written first guides the rest. Only eps. 106 and 107 don't have full casts yet, so there are at most four empty seats for each episode. 104 proved that we have quite a few avatars running around, with limited chances to meet each other, so it shouldn't be too hard to fill those seats without violating continuity.

Oh, and Lainer:

The hell I am. Not even a full week ago, I paid nearly $1300 in cash to have all four of my wisdom teeth taken out. I don't have money to waste because you think my thought processes are contagious. :P

By the way, Cosmos, how long was it before you could open your mouth all the way? Right now, I need a rolling pin to make a sandwich.
