It could be one of THOSE things...

You know. Those things which, if an omnipotent alien race came to Earth to judge us for our worthiness before we present a threat to the galaxy at large, could potentially be presented as proof that we are indeed worthy of continued existance.

Things like the upcoming Full Throttle 2 game, GTA4, Fallout 3, Army of Darkness 2... projects which could save mankind from utter annihilation and delay the slide into soulless oblivion.

...Or potentially doom us all prematurely by tampering with asskicking perfection.

Sadly, the second's MUCH more likely.

Not that I dislike Marsden that much, but I'm really not sure about him doing Jesse, frankly. Nor am I sure that the producers'll have the balls to portray many of the situations which help to make the comics fun... and can mainstream America embrace it?

Course, I'll still watch the movie, just to find out.

On a side note, some of the 'dream cast' situations that are mentioned on the boards there are rather fun. For example, they wanted R Lee Ermey to be Sheriff Root.

That would indeed be a thing of beauty.
