I read a few threads, and despite what you may think I did pay attention to them. However, it is entirely illogical to assume that I'm going to come to the conclusion you thought I should come to when you have no idea how I interpreted those threads, or even of how I think.

Meanwhile, I stand by my previous statement. You can either take my suggestion on it's own merits, or you can ignore wholesale it because I'm a newbie. Take in mind this: while your community may have been around for a while, to me you are all pretty much new faces to me, and if I followed the same methods for determining when to accept criticism or suggestions as you do, I would have told the lot of you to fuck off several posts ago. Instead, I have taken your suggestions and your criticisms with an open, critical mind and responding accordingly. As such, I am no longer posting wacky posts, so forth and so on.

As for "missing the point", hardly. You said that while insanity is not encouraged on a grand scale, and in this post, you've "clarified" it to mean that one's first post on the forums shouldn't try to be insane for the sake of getting attention. That's not clarification, that's a whole new meaning. Allow me to give you a better way of saying it: "No attention whoring". There, simple, direct, end of story.

You can't expect people to pick up on what you mean if you never wrote it in the first place.
