Last year Jay wrestled nearly 300 matches, we obtained tournament information through a variety of sources, one of the best was through Midwest Sports Schedules. They put together a calendar of tourneys from surrounding states that have contact age, entry, and contact info. It was extremely useful.
I also checked various internet sources and other club team web sites. We wrestled in Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, South Dakota, Minnesota, Colorado, and Illinois. Nebraska doesn't get revved up until Mid-January.
I know that Jay Meneely runs a great tournament at UNO. It will be December 22 and then Bob Edmonds runs the Metro Youth Tourney at Millard North on December 29. Both tourneys have brought great competition in the past. I know the Millard North Tourney is on the same weekend as the Who's Bad Tourney in Colorado.
If I remember right we hit a Council Bluffs Tounament and a couple of Sioux City Tourneys on the weekend in question a year ago, I would bet their running these tourneys on the same weekends as last year.
