Weigh_In Rules

I guess I don't know how to respond to any specific question you might have about the weigh-ins, so this is what I learned in a nutshell.
I contacted the National Office and this year's NPR Tournament Director, Randy Wilson. I was advised that an athlete competing in both styles will need only weigh-in once if wrestling both events at that same weight. This is contingent upon the athlete actively participating in that weight and weighing in at their lowest qualified weight. Otherwise if the athlete can weigh-in once for Greco at a higher weight, then may re-weigh for Freestyle in the lower weight. The wrestler may compete in a weight class equal to or higher than the weight class they qualified for in their state tournament, but not lower; Athletes competing in only one style must weigh-in for that style. In other words, if you show up early and want to weigh-in during the Greco weigh-ins and you're only planning on wrestling Freestyle, you must weigh-in during the freestyle weigh-ins.
Also, all wrestlers must be present at the beginning of weigh-ins. There is no set conclusion time. Weigh-Ins will start at the prescribed time and they will conclude when the last wrestler has weighed in. Therefore, if weigh-ins start at 9:00 AM and the the last wrestler weighs in at 9:33 and you get there at 9:40. You're out!
Wrestlers will move immediately from the weigh-ins to skin checks, you can have a doctors slip, however the Chief Medical Officer on site can and will over-ride your personal physicians slip.
I hope this answers your questions. Please don't hesitate to contact me if any other questions arise.
