As of today, the Hanover County Attorney's office is doing an investigation into this entire matter to see if wrong-doing has been done.
The Richmond Times-Dispatch ran an article on Thursday. They included sound bytes to go along with this news report on at least two different radio stations within the Richmond area Thursday morning.
The local ABC affiliate in Richmond (WRIC-TV8)ran this story Thursday night at 11pm and then again several times Friday morning and again at noon. It possibly ran again for the 6pm news, but I can not say for sure.
Over this weekend, descendants of those buried in the Sydnor section/family cemetery will be visiting the area. We have been in contact with several within VA and across the country. They are all VERY interested in what is going on here in Hanover County.
