Hey guys..... there is a company out there that makes the most comfortable and longest lasting shoe lifts I know of. They go up to two inches in height and will form to the shape of your foot over extended wear. They offer a 30 day money back guarantee even if they have been worn! Check them out http://www.talleryou.com/
I wanted to let you know not to buy any of the 'generic'/disposable brand shoelifts off www.shoelift.com. They don't work very well - white and too soft so they don't give you that much height increase. The new ones they have are really good though - black and actually give the amount of height they say - but more expensive. Guess you get what you pay for

How is this product?

I'm thinking about ordering the Levitator Lifts, and I've heard from most people that they're not bad. Did you actually try them? I'm only 5-7 (when I have my shoes on) and I need to be as tall as possible, and if I can get up to 5-9 (with the 2 inch pairs), I'll be average height. I would've ordered these things already, but I bought the Shoelifts from shoelift.com and those things are nothing but worthless pieces of crap! They're diffcult to walk in, are very soft, (which pretty much means that they really don't give you much height) they hurt a lot, and wear out pretty quickly. I really want to get the Levitator Lifts, but I need to make sure they're going to be worth getting, and not end up being cheap usless styrofoam pieces that you can just cut out and make yourself for free like the Shoelifts are. Please let me know any info you have about this product, and any you can give to me, and/or to anyone else would be great.

Re: Levitator shoe lifts

Levitator shoe lift did work!!!!
i have bought the products from both shoelift & Levitator...
Compared with shoelift, the fabric of levitator is more wearproof, and the shape is more comfortable..
shoelift really sucks!!!!!!!
it exhibits a ridiculous white shape, which is easy to be detected by others whenever u take off ur shoes..
However, there is a big problem about Levitator ...
since this thing really give u the extra 2 inch height, u have to buy another shoe with larger space or u can't place ur feet with Levitator into the original shoes together...too crowded
Nevertheless, it is hard to find a shoe with more space in Z direction to torelate the Levitator but remain the same size in xy direction..........
anyone have good idea???

I got my Levitator Lifts today. Read on.

I just got my Levitator Lifts today, and they're good but not great. The good things about them is that they're made from a much more firm foam type, and not a soft type like the Shoelifts are. At least these (unlike the Shoelifts) do seem to give you the amount of height they advertise, and it's worth it in my opinion. They also last a lot longer too. Also they're black which is good, because when you take them off they blend right in with your shoes, and can't be seen by others as well. With the Levitator Lifts, I'm about 5-8, to 5-9 and I guess that's pretty much average height which is good. I want to be at least 5-10, but the height I am with my shoes and lifts, isn't so bad. The bad thing about these shoes is that also like the shoelifts, your socks turn black after wearing them for an extended period of time, which is very annoying. Also since you pretty much do get the amount of height they say you get from these things, you need to find a deep pair of shoes, or else your heel sticks out when you wear them, and it is kind of noticible by others that you're wearing these things. I have a pair of Elevator Shoes I wear which are deeper than average shoes, and I ordered the 1.5 inch pairs of the lifts, and my heel still sticks out when I use these things (kind of like they did when I wore the Shoelifts)! My shoes also come off my feet pretty easily when wearing these things, and I'm wishing I just ordered the 1 inch pairs. At least these ones do feel more confortable than the Shoelifts, and they seem to be a lot easier to walk in at least. The Levitator Lifts are a big improvment over the shoelifts, but they're not perfect by any means. Unless you wear deep boots or something, stick with the 1 inch pairs of these if you decide to order them.

I also ordered the Levitator Lifts + impressions
May 1 2003, 5:11 PM
I ordered the Levitator Lifts and they came today (I ordered the 1.5" lifts). I only wore them for a little bit of time but they seem to be high quality, they are black, and they are firm. I don't know whether or not after a while they turn your socks black but in the short term at least they don't.
So my first impressions of it overall are good. The only problems are that you need to wear them with tall boots (which is a plus if you want to get even more height since some boots can give you an inch or so). It's almost impossible to wear them with sneakers because your heal sticks out and it is uncomfortable and visible to others. The other problem is that I was charged $6.50 for shipping and when they arrived the only thing on the package was a $0.60 stamp. That was a bit irritating (Overall the cost for a 1.5" pair including shipping is about $20).
After I wear them for a week or so I'll report back with how the fare after being used for a bit.

You've got a point Rob.

Your description of this product is pretty accurate. I had the same things happen to me when I got my Levitator Lifts, and they're good and bad. I also noticed that they only had a 60 cent stamp on their package, which was kind of suspicious. The packaging also was kind of lame (considering on their site they say that they come in a box, but when you get the lifts, they come in a little brown bag with your name and address written in black marker, which also made me skeptical a little), and that's another red flag against this product and company. Also, if you wear them for more than five minutes in a row, it seems like that's when they turn your socks black. With me only the part of my socks that's under your toes turns black, but it does get kind of irritating. And yes, if you don't have boots, or very deep shoes, the only pair that's an option for you is the 1 inch pairs, but if you want a pair of boots that makes you three inches taller, the Richlee Shoe Company (www.elavatorshoes.com) sells boots that make you that much taller, but they're probably very expensive. I also checked the shoelift.com website, and they now sell new kinds of pairs of shoelifts that are black, and do seem to actually give the height they say (unlike the old white ones they sold that were too soft, and didn't give you that much height), but they're more expensive. I guess you get what you pay for with them, but with them you can gain as many as 2.5 inches, which isn't bad. That of course means that you can get the boots from the Richlee Company that make you three inches taller, and the 2.5 inch pairs from the shoelift site, and togetther you can gain up to 5.5 inches of height, which isn't bad at all. At least there are some ways you can be taller when you stop growing, but it's still too bad that there isn't a product that would naturally make you taller, but hopefully there will be one made someday. It's much better at least to spend your hard earned money on footwear that makes you taller, rather then scam height increase products that do nothing for you. Oh well. I guess you can't have everything.

Impressions part 2
May 18 2003, 11:33 AM
Well, I've been wearing them for about 2 weeks now and generally they have lived up to expectations. When they're on, I get the 1.5" of height that they say and nobody can tell. The lifts have not noticably changed shape and are still very firm. Others have said that they turn your socks black but after 2 weeks of use, I haven't experienced this problem.
Now the bad things, it's a little awkward to wear them at first. It basically feels like you're wearing high heels (which is true since the basic concept is the same except with the lifts the height gain is internal, not external). I also have the tendency that while walking I step toe first (as opposed to heal first) so as to not put too much pressure on the lifts. So sometimes my foot gets a bit sore after a little while. I wouldn't recommend exercise or physical activity with the lifts on. But I think these are mostly problems with all lifts and not the Levitator Lifts exclusively. Overall, it is a bit uncomfortable at first but you will get used to it after a couple of days and it should be fine. The only other problem (as is with all lifts) is that you need to be wearing shoes to get the height increase.
I feel that lifts are the best and most realistic way to gain height. They are relatively inexpensive, the height increase is instant, it is not permanant and no one can tell. There are no expensive "snake oils" or weird devices or dubious exercises involved. So these are recommended if that is what you are looking for.
I just want to warn everyone once more that there is something a bit suspicious about the Levitator Lifts company since they charge $6.50 for shipping and it was obviously apparent that the actual cost for shipping the lifts was much less (~$1). But otherwise the company was fine and I got my lifts about 4-5 days after I ordered them.

I've been taking the Sharp lab growth boosters from growtall.com for exactly 3 months now twice every day. So far I see no change in my height. . Even though I have experience no height increase from this product, there is something interesting I'd like to report So, these boosters are definitely doing nothing, because of all these obvious scams things that are happening. At this point I don't know if they will refund me since I got no reply to my refund and I reported them. So far I haven't gained a single cm. Their website claims that it takes about 2 months for results to be seen. I guess I'll keep an open mind on my lawyer. I will continue bringing you updates about this product.
LATER…!
as far as i am concerned, who wants hard peices of wood as shoe lifts? these hurt your heels. thats what the ones on shoe lift com are like, rubbish.
