Its like this guys i emailed him long ago asking when he would publish his book , so everyone can make it, ( remember he said he has 23year old students that grew 15 cm in 1 year , thats amazing! ) anyway i finnally got the reply and he said to call his clinic it would be easier to explain , anyway i cant do it , it just costs too much , im from Portugal , near Spain , and the clinic is in brazil , half a world way. thats what we have to find out! once one has to book we can all have it , and i would personaly translate it if need , i just wished i was rich so i could afford the phone call its way too expensive. Heromar's Program according to Helber Mello

"This is the program I followed while I was going to the clinic of profesor heromar in brazil. Just to remember: I grew 1.5 cm in 3 weeks. It has been permanent and I have even gained 14 kilos after I did the exercises. I am 22 now. The results can vary but the average growth is 0.5 cm each 10 times you peform exercises. (about 3 weeks or 1 month)
Remember:
These exercises are not to be done everyday.
Do it 2 or 3 times per week. The best result is reached when you practice it on mondays, wednesdays, and fridays.
Sleep at least 8 hours per night.
Forget body building or lifting weights during the program.
Avoid coffee, chocolate, alcohol, and soft drinks (mainly coke!).
Try to take in some sun at least 20 minutes per day.
Drink at least 2 or 3 cups of milk per day.
If you have done other exercises to grow stop it for 4 weeks before starting these.
Before doing the exercises:
Warm up: 10 minutes running
EXERCISES:
1) Hang on Bar for 1 minute
2) Lay on the floor keeping your legs bent and feet on the floor. Try to put your chin on your chest, but keep your head on the floor (move just your chin towards your torax) held it there for 1 minute.
3) While in the same position as exercise 2, keep your head straight (looking at the ceiling) and try to touch the floor with your entire spine(push your back on the floor trying to eliminate every space between the floor and your back). 1 minute.
4) While in the same position, perform exercise 2 and 3 at the same time. Hold for 1 minute.
5) Hang on a bar with your legs together, and then spread them apart. Don't spread your legs too fast. (about 20 times per minute) 1 minute.
6) Lay on the floor keeping your legs and spine very straight. Raise your left leg forming and angle of 30 degrees and stretch it as much as you can. Keep your toes upwards. 1 minute. Do the same to right leg.
7) Hang on a bar and move your right leg ahead. Bring it back. Alternate the legs. This movement is like walking but keeping the knees straight. 1 minute.
8) Lay on the floor keeping your legs and spine very straight. Bend your right knee and keep your left knee straight. take your right leg to your chest hugging your thigh as close as you can. 1 minute. Do the same to your left leg.
9) Hang on a bar. Bend your knees and raise your legs until they from 2 angles of 90 degrees. Now turn your bent legs leftwards and rightwards (twist at your waist).
10) To perform this exercise you will need a support (like a bar) standing about 3 feet high from the floor. Just hold on the to the suport, pout your legs ahead of your boddy. Stretch your legs and keep them straight. Hold on for 1 minute.
11) Exercise your lower abs. Part 1. lay staright on the floor and try to hold onto something steady.. Raise both your legs 30 times.
12) Lay straight on the floor and try to hold onto something steady. Raise both your legs and turn them around, meaning twisting slowly leftwards and rightwards. 30 times each side.
13) Kneel down on both knees (like praying). Cross you arms over your chest holding onto your shoulders. Keep your spine straight while leaning back at a 45 degree angle (to stretch your legs). 1 minute.
14) To perform this exercise you'll need a support like a bar 5 feet high from the floor (it also can be anything that you can put your hands on, ex: a high table) Hold on to this bar. Keep your hands apart shoulder width apart. Straighten your arms and bend at your waist. Let only your arms hold your whole weight, let your spine "free" (it might be horizontal). 2 minutes.
15) To do this exercise you'll need a ball like a basketball. Lay down on the floor quite straight looking at the ceiling. Put the ball under your back. Try to feel for a comfortable location on your back to place the ball. Keep the ball there for 6 mintues (first time), 8 minutes (second time), 10 minutes (third time)."

When it comes to stretching, I think the most important thing is consistency, whether it be Heromar's routine or one of the journals. Personally, I think some stretching in the morning and in the evening is optimal. But really, it's minor detail. Consistency is really key.

TRY TO TAKE YOUR CHIN TO TOUR CHEST, BUT KEEP YOUR HEAD ON THE FLOOR - MOVE JUST YOUR CHIN TOWARDS YOUR TORAX - KEEP FOR 1 MINUTE. (Tente tocar o queixo no tórax, mas não descole a cabeça do chão – fique assim por 1 minuto.)
3- LAY ON THE FLOOR KEEPING YOUR LEGS BENT AND FEET ON THE FLOOR.
KEEP YOUR HEAD STRAIGHT(LOOKING AT THE CEILING) AND TRY TO TOUCH THE FLOOR WITH YOUR ENTIRE SPINE - PUT YOUR BACKS ON THE FLOOR TRYING TO ELIMINATE EVERY SPACE BETWEEN THE FLOOR AND YOUR BACK - 1 MINUTE (Deite-se no chão com as pernas dobradas e com os pés no chão, com a cabeça colada no chão e direcionada para o teto. Tente encostar toda a espinha no chão, eliminando qualquer espaço entre ela e o chão por 1 minuto.)
4- LAY ON THE FLOOR KEEPING YOUR LEGS BENT AND FEET ON THE FLOOR.
KEEP YOUR HEAD STRAIGHT(LOOKING AT THE CEILING) AND TRY TO TOUCH THE FLOOR WITH YOUR ENTIRE SPINE (PUT YOUR BACKS ON THE FLOOR TRYING TO ELIMINATE EVERY SPACE BETWEEN THE FLOOR AND YOUR BACK).
TRY TO TAKE YOUR CHIN TO TOUR CHEST, BUT KEEP YOUR HEAD ON THE FLOOR(MOVE JUST YOUR CHIN TOWARDS YOUR TORAX) KEEP FOR 1 MINUTE. (Faça o 3º passo, mas agora você vai tentar encostar o queixo no tórax, mantendo a cabeça colada no chão.)
P.S. - THE EXERCISE 4 IS THE UNION FO EXERCISES 2 AND 3. (O exercício 4 é a união do 2 e 3.)
5-HANG ON A BAR PUT YOUR LEGS TOGETHER AND APART. DON'T SPREAD YOUR LEGS TOO FAST.(ABOUT 20 TIMES PER MINUTE) - 1 MINUTE (Pendure-se numa barra, mantendo suas pernas juntas e separadas repetidamente, abra e feche as pernas 20 vezes em 1 minuto.)
6- LAY ON THE FLOOR KEEPING YOUR LEGS AND SPINE VERY STRAIGHT.
RAISE YOUR LEFT LEG FORMING AN ANGLE OF 30?AND STRECTH IT AS MUCH AS U CAN. KEEP YOUR TOES UPWARDS. 1 MINUTE. DO THE SAME TO THE RIGHT LEG. (Deite-se no chão, mantendo as pernas e a espinha muito alinhadas. Eleve a perna esquerda formando um ângulo de 30 graus. Estire ela o máximo que puder, mantendo os dedos do pé para cima, durante 1 minuto. Depois faça o mesmo com a perna esquerda.)
7-HANG ON A BAR AND MOVE YOUR RIGHT LEG AHEAD. BRING IT BACK. ALTERNATE THE LEGS.
THIS MOVEMENT IS LIKE WALKING BUT KEEPING HE KNEES STRAIGHT. 1 MINUTE. (Pendure-se numa barra e mova a perna direita para frente. Traga ela depois para trás. Alterne as pernas neste movimento que parece uma natação durante 1 minuto.)

TAKE YOUR RIGHT LEG TO YOUR CHEST HUGGING YOUR THIGH AS CLOSE AS U CAN. 1 MINUTE. DO THE SAME TO YOUR LEFT LEG. (Deite-se no chão mantendo as pernas e a espinha alinhadas. Dobre somente a perna direita e abrace ela com muita força durante 1 minuto. Depois, faça o mesmo com a perna esquerda.)
9- HANG ON A BAR. BEND YOUR KNEES AND RAISE YOUR LEGS UNTILL FORM 2 ANGLES OF 90? (THE SAME POSITION WHEN WE SIT DOWN ON A CHAIR AND KEEP THE HANDS UP). NOW TURN YOUR BENT LEGS LEFTWARDS AND RIGHTWARDS(TWIST YOU WAIST). (Pendure-se numa barra. Dobre os joelhos e levante as pernas até forma um ângulo de 90 graus – isso parece como estar sentado em uma cadeira e manter as mãos para cima ). Agora gire as pernas para esquerda e para direita, é como torcer a cintura para direita e para esquerda.)
10- TO MAKE THIS EXERCISE YOU WILL NEED A SUPPORT( LIKE A BAR) STANDING ABOUT 3 FEET HIGH FROM THE FLOOR.
JUST HOLD ON THE SUPPORT, PUT YOUR LEGS AHEAD YOUR BODY.
STRETCH YOUR LEGS AND KEEP THEM STRAIGHT.
HOLD ON FOR 1 MINUTE. (Pendure-se em uma barra e coloque as duas pernas para frente, mantendo elas bem retas. Fique assim durante 1 minuto.)
11- EXERCISING YOUR LOWER ABS(BELLY MUSCLES). PART 1
LAY STRAIGHT ON THE FLOOR AND TRY TO HOLD ON SOMETHING STEADY.
RAISE YOUR BOTH LEGS 30 TIMES. (Para exercitar o abdômen, você Vi deitar no chão bem reto e elevar em 30 graus ambas as pernas. Para conseguir fazer isso você terá que usar as mãos para segurar algo firme, como um portão que está acima de sua cabeça.)
12- LAY STRAIGHT ON THE FLOOR AND TRY TO HOLD ON SOMETHING STEADY.
RAISE YOUR BOTH LEGS AND TURN THEM AROUND. I MEAN, TWIST(SLOWLY) YOUR LEGS LEFTWARDS AND RIGHTWARDS. 30 TIMES EACH SIDE. (Para conseguir fazer isso você terá que usar as mãos para segurar algo firme, como um portão que está acima de sua cabeça. Erga ambas as pernas e movimente elas para direita e para esquerda. Faça isso 30 vezes para cada lado.)
13- BE ON YOUR KNEES(LIKE PRAYING).
PUT YOUR HANDS ON YOUR CHEST. KEEP YOUR SPINE STRAIGHT.
MOVE YOUR TORAX BACK DOWNWARDS (TO STRECTH YOUR LEGS). (Fique sobre os joelhos no chão, como se estivesse rezando. Mantendo a espinha bem reta, incline as costas para trás. Isso alongará suas pernas.)
14- TO MAKE THIS EXERCISES YOU'LL NEED A SUPPORT LIKE A BAR 5 FEET HIGH FROM THE FLOOR( IT ALSO CAN BE ANYTHING THAT U CAN PUT YOUR HANDS ON. ex: A HIGH TABLE)
HOLD ON THIS BAR. KEEP YOUR HANDS APART AT YOUR SHOULDERS WIDE.
STRAIGHT YOUR ARMS AND BEND YOUR WAISTE. LET ONLY YOUR ARMS HOLD YOUR WHOLE WEIGHT, LET YOUR SPINE "FREE"(IT MIGHT BE HORIZONTAL). 2 MINUTES (Este exercício pode ser feito na horizontal. Você se deita no chão e segura com ambas as mãos uma mesa alta que está atrás de você. Ou ainda você deve se pendurar uma barra, sem tocar com os pés no chão. Faça isso por 2 minutos.)
15- TO MAKE THIS EXERCISE YOU'LL NEED A BALL LIKE A BASKETBALL.
LAY DOWN ON THE FLOOR QUITE STRAIGHT LOOKING AT THE CEILING.
PUT THE BALL UNDER YOUR BACK.
TRY TO FEEL A CONFORTABLE LOCATION IN YOUR BACK TO PLACE THE BALL. KEEP THE BALL THERE FOR 6MINUTES (FIRST TIME), 8 MINUTES (SECOND TIME), 10 MINUTES (SINCE THIRD TIME). (Deite-se no chão e coloque uma bola de basquete nas costas. Tente achar uma posição confortável. Ficará assim por 6 minutos (1 vez). Dê um descanso. Fique assim por 8 minutos (2 vez). Dê um descando. Fique assim por 10 minutos (3 vez).

I don't think heromar will release a book (he would have done it long ago). his method varies from person to person and supposedly a computer analysis is needed for each patient's body

ffs, dr heromar does not have a book.. please stop puting your mails and read the mutherfucking posts in the beginning of the topic. If you guys dont even bother to read the post that has the exercices in english I cant understand how your gonna do the exercices, that by the way are dificult and time consuming. Since i'm in a good mood I put the:

what if you do jumps (or sprints, cycling) in between the exercises? maybe I'm just pessimistic but the routine sounds too easy to be effective...I thought you would have to work really hard to force your body to react. But anyways, Heromar's method won't work if you combine with other exercises?

I emailed his clinic about 2 weeks ago and I got a response. In my email I said "I live all the way in the United States and I was wondering if Dr. Heromar's (or anything close to it) is available in the US. Is he going to publish a book or is there anyway I can learn how to do the program without having to go to Brazil?"....but they responded in Portueguese and I tried to use the translator but it makes absolutely makes no sense...Can anyone who speaks fluent Portugueges please translate> I Think it could help all of us...

Hey im 16 and really short, and want to gain a few inches so i've started this exercise/nurtition sorta regime out.
But just a few questions to begin with, i hope someone can help me out.
Why are the exercises only done on Mon, Wed and Fri, why not everyday? Surely you'd grow quicker if you did it everyday. I begun this last week, and the exercises do hurt and my back does hurt the next day or so, so is this why? So there's not too much strain?
Another is, whilst doing the basketball exercise, the first time i could only do it for 3 minutes and the second only 4 minutes as it really hurts me, does anyone/did anyone else find this as well, or do you think im postioning the ball in the wrong place?
Last question, i have brought a bar, but my dad thinks it'll 'strain' the frame or whatever haha, but im persuading him to let me put it up, but for the time being, do you think there's any alternative to those bar exercises until i get the bar up.
I hope someone can help me, it would be highly appreciated, and maybe if some of you are tying this as well, you could say how you're getting on.
I could not download the illustrated version and I do not get exercise number 14. Am I supposed to hang on a bar and then bend my upper body forward and keep my legs perpendicular to the ground? Also, what part of my back is best to put the basketball (exercise number 15)? Upper, middle, lower? Has anyone grow with this method? If so, age, gender, how much growth in how many months. Thx
Hej, so Nikita posted back then (July 4 2003, 11:51 AM) the 15 exercises. But Anonymous (205.188.116.203) posted on March 14 2006, 1:38 PM that he got a reply from Dr. Heromar. As far as I have understood the Dr.`s reply he says that they send you a DVD with personalized exercises. So I`m a bit confused, because if you do the 15 exercises, posted by Nikita, you are still missing your own personalized exercises, which you get with the DVD (quote: 4- Envio do DVD (Fase1 ) contendo seus exercícios personalizados.). In the reply he also says: Importante: Somente atenderemos no máximo 50 cliente por mês. This means they attend no more than 50 clients per month.
Anyway did anyone of you who has used/is still using his method, gain a few centimeters?
On his website he states: "Já são mais de quatro mil casos positivos de pessoas com idade entre 7 e 65 anos, que ganharam entre 3, 6, 10 e até 26cm a mais na altura". So this means until now there are more than 4000 persons in the range of 7-65 years who gained 3,6,10 and even 26 cm in height.
I think you have to use the program for a minimun of a year to see splendid results, but than again it very depends on each individual. Some may take longer to grow, others achieve their height increase in a shorter time span.
Did anyone of you have visited him in Brazil? - (except Nikita)

I am also interested in the "Ebook" of Dr Herormar and hope that it can really help many of us to get taller. Nikita, please send me more guide in pictures of postures of your exercises post here. the exercises are in text, thus I hope that the "ebook" can help more of how to take these.
