Hey everyone, I am about to give you information about myself because I'm very curious about how tall I will be. Right now I am 16 as of November 11 and am only 5 '4. I weigh 135 pounds and play different sports recreational and for school so I am considered an active teen. I have size 10 1/2 shoe and fairly big hands. My friend who is 5 11 has hands and feet only slightly larger than mine. Right now I'm taking a multivitamin everday and also whey protein every other day. I went to visit my doctor in september to get x rays of my ankle and he said my growth plates were still open and that I have more growing to do. My goal is to reach 5 '8. I think this is a realistic goal and am looking for anyone to shed some light and give me advice in acheiving this. Thanks

advice

December 12 2004, 5:47 PM

Here are some advice. Sleep at least 8 hours a day. Eat a diet that consists mostly of protein. Don't start weightlifting or lifting 10-20lbs backpack anytime soon.
My parents - mother=5'2 father=5'8
In grade 8 - grade 9 term/semester 1 = 4'11-5'0
Now - 18 years old = 5'3- 5'6. 5'7-5'9 if my back was straight.

Yeah just be as healthy as possible, and don't eat too much before bedtime. Sleep as much as you want. Exercise! Swimming is best, all swimmers are 6'3+. Just try to exercise alot so you would have more HGH. My suggestion is 3 pills of alfalfa every meal is good too. But don't over do it, you're still young. Don't drink too much milk, just 1-2 cups is good.

Goodluck...fu*k I wish I cared about my height while I was that young...

Thanks

Thanks a lot guys! I'll definately have to get some alfalfa and I'll be sure to get a lot of protein through out the day. I'm workin on straighting out my back through different streches and excercises right before I go to bed and get up. Hopefully all these things will contribute to success in my goal. Thanks again
