Forget about stretching, hanging, kicking and all that. They are useless. Your growth is determined by other factors such as genetics, nutrition etc. Genetics is something you can't control, so try to control what you can and grow rapidly, as I did. The secret of my success is in nutrition. This may be surprising to most people, and I already hear people saying, "Oh, but i eat well," and all that blah. It doesn't matter how much you eat or what you eat. You can eat a lot, you can eat lots of protein and vitamins with no growth. My friends eat all kinds of meat, whereas I am veggie. My friends eat all the time, I eat just 4 times and that too very small meals. Then how come I am big and they aren't?
The secret is in my magic diet, which means the timing is more important than what you eat or the quantity you consume. Through trial and error, I discovered this whole sh!t and changed my diet accordingly, adn it has worked wonders. And I am 30. I do no stretching, no hanging, nothing. No supplements, no pills. All I had to do was observe myself and make changes in my diet accordingly, and the diet itself did the trick and I was able to add 4 inches in 4 months. That was 3 months back and stoppped it to see if it was permanent. Thank god it is and I haven't shrunk even quarter inch.
In case you want the magic diet, please post your height, weight, age, ethnicity, parents and grandparents' height. Also post your present dietary habits like if you're veggie et al, so I can plan your diet on that basis. When do you wake up and when you go to sleep? This is very important info. because the body reacts to same foods diffrenrly at diff. times of the day, so i need to know exactly when you wake up and hit the bed. When you stopped growing, specify the exact year at least, so I can compare it with present age and find out what went wrong. Post also your measurements of lower legs (from knee downwards) and upper legs SEPARATELY, so I'll know whether the problem is that of the legs. WHat exercises are you currently doing? Do they hurt the knee and shin, specifically?
Remember there is no such thing as "one shoe fits all." Unless I know the specifics, I cannot prepare the magic diet for you. Be very clear and detailed on all the particulars I've asked, or it won't work. Check and recheck before posting the details, because once I start preparing my program and you change the particulars, the work program will be wasted.

When I cycle I usually stretch my legs but not to the point where they're fuly stretched.
I try not to eat anything an hour before I go to sleep. I eat a lot of protein and greens and milk. I take a vitamin pill in the morning after breakfast.

I think whatever you're eating and the time you're eating it is ALTERING your hormonal status in some positive way. Yes it can be done with diet.
I've heard of soy,soy does have some impact on hormones. Do you eat a lot of soy??
But what exactly do you eat A LOT of??? Please outline your own diet here!!!

Hi all,
I am an extremely busy man, travel a lot, so please don't expect me to log in every day and post messages. I am doing my best to help, so I don't like to hear any negative comments. I am 30, have a job that requires travel, got friends and family who need me, and yet, I am doing what I can to help people grow...for free. Be considerate and patient.
That said, I need more info.
1) Gender
2) Dietary habits
Aside from whether you're veggie or not, I need to know your present eating habits. I thought that was obvious from my first post. Anyway, how long does it take to eat (solid) foods after you wake up? Be as accurate as possible. Do you drink tea/coffe? how many times, and how much sugar do you add each time? What's your pre and post workout drink/supplement? Post details of all meals, so I can find out which item occupies the top place (in terms of consumption) in a whole week. Don't say I eat eggs. Tell me how much in a week, so I can compare it with other non-protein items for the same week. Also, tell me whether it is just eggs whites or whole egg. Be specific, it is for your own good.
3) Your waist size, so I can compare it with your (present) height and find out whether it is causing problems to your spine, shin and kneecaps, and hence impeding your growth. That way, i can prepare a veggie juice diet which you MUST drink for at least one week prior to starting the diet. It tastes like crap, you'll practically starve, but it lasts one week and it is absolutely necessary, or the diet will be useless. OTOH, if your waist is perfect, I'll know that isn't the problem and we can start directly. So please be honest about your waist, or I would never be able to identify the problem.

dinner - this is usually a mixed bag, but I usually eat around 7:00pm and it contains a salad, and some kind of meat (steak, tacos, etc.), and a glass or two of milk.
My diet is about the same on weekends, but I'll usually eat at 10:30am, 2:00pm, and 9:00pm instead
exercises - right now I'm just doing sprints. I'll jog down to a feild and spend about a half hour a day sprinting and resting as needed and then jog back. No pain from this yet, but I was on the track team in high school and would get shin splints every year because our workouts were much more intense.

I'm always eating cereals almost with each meal I have.
I eat some fruits, drink orange juice, have some toast and some milk whether it's with my cereals or just in a glass.
I don't drink coffee & if I don't have much time to cook in the morning i take 1 or 2 proteins shake.
lunch: I eat almost the same things as for breakfast,
but I eat a bit more so i can add a sandwish or a piece of pizza, some rice etc.

When I stop growing: at 15 I was 5'1",at 19 I was still the same.
Dietary habits: I eat all different kinds of food (Don't really have set times that I eat), but I make sure that I drink lots of milk and eat food with protein. I eat lots of veggies and fruits. I drink 1 cups of coffee in the morning when I first wake up then another about an hour later NO SUGAR. I drink 2 cups of tea during the day (anytime) NO SUGAR. I'll eat 2 whole eggs in one week.
About my body:
measurement from middle knee to downwards: is 17 inches
measurement of upper legs: from inseam to middle knee: is 11 inches
My waist is 23-24.
I'm currently doing yoga in the mornings around 7:30am until 8:00am. My knees hurt a little while doing yoga and a little afterwards.
Sleeping habits:
Wake up 5:30am
Go to sleep 10.00pm

either! Plp here are so dumb.

I stopped growing: at 15 , I was 5'5"+ .. but last year i used kalsi's journal of growing taller exercises and grew 1.5cm

i work in shifts so usually i'll sleep around 0230 to 0300hrs and get up around 1030 or 1100hrs
Dietary Habits:
breakfast: I'll usually eat 1or 2 fried eggs with a cup of yougurt and breads.
lunch: i'll eat loads of junk food of meat....i'll some times take rice too..
i snack in the evening....chips(baked or french fries) or a small burger..
dinner: can be anything....though am more into protein foods..and eat all dairy products..not much into veggies..take 2 glasses of milk each day ..each with a table spoon of ovaltine..all in all my diet involves loads of meat..
Exercises: i do jogging stretching hanging and kicking...usually around 2000hrs for 40mins...i jog on a hard concrete and most of the time theres a tingling warming sensation in my shin and sometimes knees hurt!! some times when i do evening shifts i exercise early morning around 0700hrs.

Rami run on grass it will soften the shock of your body hitting the floor in long term it can be bad for you tendons cartilage joints etc plus still getting the same strecthing effects of running on normal pavement.

Eating habits:
Breakfast: cereal and milk 7 days a week.
Lunch: Some times burgers, sometimes rice with chicken or beef or pork. Sometimes macaroni or noodle in soup with chicken or pork.
Dinner: Veggie, fish, pork, chicken, beef, rice, scramble eggs 3 days a week.
Snack: Avoid snack except orange, banana, biscuits. Sometimes I have yogurt every day. Orange juice every other day.

i am northern european
my mom is 5ft 8 my dad is 5 ft 11, my grandmas were 5 ft 6 and 5 ft 11, and my grandpas were 6 ft 2 and 5 ft 8.
im not veg.
i go to bed at 10:30 and wake up at 6:30
i stopped growing at 16
my lower leg (ankle to top of knee) is about 18 in, my upper leg (top of knee to hip) is about 14.5 in
i swim and walk frequently, and it doesn't hurt my knee or shin
i also have rhumetoid arthritis
