Hey,
Well the common perception is often that working out stunts growth. I think most people would agree that working out and lifting weights does not stunt growth unless you lift weights ungodly amounts? So, working out and lifting weights in moderation does not stunt growth, correct?
However, does lifting weights help one grow in height? I know some people think that the release of HGH from working out can help growth if ur growth plates are still open. It releases HGH, but I've heard that lifting weights does not release HGH to the right places. What is your opinion?
i think that workouts can only stimulate your body to gain height ( if your gplates are open)

when you workout (gym, push ups, bench etc) you release hgh but mostly for the upper body region, but if you sprint (run, stationary bike) you release hgh into the entire body.
Strength training= Upper body (mostly)
Sprints on foot or stationary bike= Most of the body (for 2hrs in plasma, do not eat 2hrs b4 ur sprints!!especially carbs, and drink alot of water after workout becouse hgh is lost mostly due to not enough water)

You know, the "worlds strongest boy" , Ricard Sandrak , appears to be still growing.
So, no weight lifting does not really stunt growth. Malnutrition and other factors do.
