Well it's been a long time since I've posted here, and long time no see for those of you who remain from when I last posted on this forum! Anyway, I've felt bad about my height for a while, and I'm almost 25, and am around 5-5 barefoot. I do wear Elevator Shoes, (and Elevator Boots during the winter to give me even more height than the shoes do). I also wear shoelifts as well to make me at least close to average height, but wearing high shoes, or boots, and shoelifts as much as they help, just simply isn't the real thing, and it sure sucks whenever I return to my normal height, whenever I remove my shoes, or boots. I also really hate the fact that there's 13 year old kids who are taller than me when I don't have any footwear on of anykind, and I'm thinking about getting limb lengthening surgery one day. I wouldn't be able have it done anytime soon B.T.W., as I simply don't have the time, and money to do so as of now.
Anyway, I thought I'd ask if anyone here has either had this operation themselves, or knows anyone who has been through it? It's of course for the time being, the only known way to really get taller once you're done growing, and I know for a fact that none of the scam height increase products sold over the Internet work. I'm speaking from experience, as I once tried the Ru2Short Height Increase Journal, Kimi, and the B-Growth scam products many years ago, and neither one of them worked at all. I'm 100% certain that nothing else sold over the Internet which claims to increase your height does anything to help you grow, due to having no success from the scam products I previously tried, and from being a frequent visitor of the www.shortsupport.org website as well (which does a great job of exposing the scam height increase products for what they really are). I'm obviously not going down that road again, as doing so is nothing more than a waste of time, and money, and will only set you up for more disappointment after finding out you've been scammed for a useless, do nothing product.
Getting back to the cosmetic leg lengthening surgery, I really wonder if it's a good idea to do this, and if anybody would recommend I get it done at some point in my life, or if it's just simply too big of a risk for anyone go go through? I'd really like to be 5-10, but I'd settle for being 5-8 without shoes (which I think could definitely be possible for me with just one operation), and I could easily get to 5-10 with shoes, if I'm that height without any footwear of anykind. What's the most amount of height you could gain after just one leg lengthening surgery, as there's just no way I could go through three of them?
I'm saying this, as I'd more than likely need two surgeries on my legs to get to 5-10, as well as an arms operation as well, so I wouldn't look disproportional, or anything like that. I'm hoping someone here can shed some light on any experiences on limb lengthening, or if I'll just have to rely on shoes, and shoelifts to make me taller as long as I live, or maybe even hold out hope, and just pray that there will one day be someone who invents a real painless, not too expensive treatment, or product of anykind to allow anyone to get taller in my lifetime. Thanks in advance for any help anybody here can give me, and I apologize in advance if this message is a bit long. |
