This is the conclusion I've come to. My week had ended badly and I was really bumming for the last few days, and I was getting frustrated b/c I almost wasn't going to be able to go last night. After the show ended and I had danced and sang my ass off, I realized that I'd been so engrossed in the show that all my worries had drifted away.
Seeing CR, every last member of 'em (aww, Mike sang "happy birthday"), absolutely cheers me up. I can't watch these guys and not be completely entertained and stupidly grinning in enjoyment. My voice is totally shot today from singing and yelling and general frivolity, and if that ain't proof of a good time, then I don't know what is!
In summation: if you're feeling blue and need a good folking (har har), seek out your nearest Common Rotation show. It's a lot easier than $100 an hour on a couch.
