The 11 hours my friend Justin and I drove to see the show was more than worth it- I have never been so blown away.
I'm going to see them again sometime soon, I just wish it wouldn't take me 20 or more hours to get to NYC- not that it wouldn't be more than worth it
Anyone else with that distance problem?

I think I remember seeing you there...weren't you sitting in the back corner of the room for a while?
The show was well worth whatever anyone had to do to get there. They sounded fantastic and I loved the fact that there was such a small crowd, it made it that much more fun.
Yes, I too have the problem of distance to deal with. I was thrilled to death that they came to Chicago because getting out to California or New York just isn't very easy for me. However, I will be flying to see them at the Universal City Walk show on the 24th. I'm so excited about it!

hi heather!

i remember you of course, and you probably remember me. i tried to steal your ID (not!) because we look so much alike and i need ppl to think i'm over 21 ... no, under 21 ... wait. i was just a bit dazed and confused at that point in the weekend
i'm glad you and justin had a good time. it was an awesome show (hi to Shelly too!) and the distance problem is the same for me. that was the big draw for getting them here for this event. august is just a bad month for me to leave work, so i can't make it out to city walk, but i would love to see them in NYC before they take time off for recording the new cd. i'm not sure how many shows they will have during that time shrug ...
so, road trip for the 30th anyone? :D

Ok, that's it Shell. We have to quit our jobs and just take to travelling.
We'll pick Ronia up on the way!
I'm still in awe over the show last night. I can't wait to get my pictures developed. I'lll send you a link to them when I get them in my album, guys.

Well, my id wouldn't have helped you achieve any diabolical schemes to be under 21, but if you wanted to convince people that you're a master of disguise and you'll be turning 22 in April then you can have it

Meh.

Ya I got a distance problem. A big one! I'm smack in the middle of Canada. I have to drive 7 hours to the nearest major city or 2000 to LA or NY. I am going to be in LA on Saturday for their shows this week, but it's costing me an arm and a leg! Over one grand atleast.
My dad says this is the last trip he's paying for. It's my 4th major trip in 6 months. Is he being unreasonable? I'd like to believe so, but obviously the only unreasonable thing here is that I'm actually GOING on 4 trips in 6 months!
These guys are starting to become quite an expensive hobby! After this I won't be able to go again till the PBP in Feb... or until I get me a job. Does Common Ro need to hire roadies? There's a job for me!
