It seems like so many people on this forum are super-dedicated long time fans. I'm fairly green. Who else is new? How did you find out about Common Rotation? Have you seen any shows yet? I haven't. Anything you think about being new to Common Rotation, write it!
I got into it because my little sister started watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I watched some episodes, but only for Warren and Spike. I'm in college now, and my schedule will conflict with this season. On the internet I found out about Common Rotation. The more I learned about the band, the more I liked it. I got the CD and I love it so much. I love that they have talent, that they do all the musical stuff themselves. Yay Common Ro!

So, you've never seen the band live? Well, let me tell you, if you like the cd then you'll be blown away the first time you feel the energy, humor, and excitement of a show. Are you super-far from NY and LA? Either way, I hope you get to have the full experience soon!

I discovered Common Ro' in May, and have seen them live a total of six times since then (in LA, New York, and San Diego). I actually live in San Diego, CA, so I drive ALOT to shows. (Actually, I'm cruisin' up to LA tonight to catch the Hotel Cafe show). Anyway, enough about me. Welcome to the fun...

Hey. I'm a newbie too! waves I also love Common Ro (well duh-why else would I be here? ;-D) I haven't seen them live before, but hopefully I'll get to see them at the Edwardian in London in October. Here's hoping! Anyway I just wanted to say 'hi' although I don't quite get how to use this board yet.

Like you, I'm a pretty new Common Ro fan... And like you, I started because I recognised Adam Busch as the guy behind the evil character Warren on Buffy. (Do I dare also mention that I actually started watching Buffy because I'd been channel surfing and spotted a cute blonde named James Marsters..err.. Spike?)

The Common Ro CD is great - but to really experience them I've found that you must go see them live. They have such incredible energy it could leave a two year old breathless!

It is also great to go and meet other Common Ro fans. Tuesday I was thrilled to meet TB (Who is so much like me I'm not sure if people should be afraid) and a whole mess of others who for the most part loved the band for the music they created not the men who created the band itself (though the major portion of the fan base seems to stem from Buffy fans).
