Sorry..

I may be a Buffy fan, but this is the only forum I'm currently yakking on. If you had friends from that board you might try emailing them - perhaps they'll know. Good luck.

hi Danielle

September 23 2002, 9:09 PM

yes, somewhere around last week, UPN decided to launch the new Buffy site and leave out the Bronze. no notice, no warning, nada. one second it's there, the next ... not. and no announcement about when or even IF it will be back.

as a result, some people who frequent that board are trying to set up an alternative forum to reconvene. most are probably going to end up at the Beta (www.bronzebeta.com).

good luck!

Carefully hides my UPN baseball cap Yes, darn UPN. Stupid, stupid...

hehehe

Still like UPN, I fibbed. But maybe that's just 'cause I like Paramount Pictures.

Okay.. 30 mins left of work. Then it's off to my Starbucks. Then it's off to AJs to watch the season premiere. Might I take a moment to add that my sister Re is sadistic. She is messaging me on ICQ right now letting me know how GOOD Buffy is tonight. She's in NY. Buffy has been on for nearly 30 mins there. Dammit. Why aren't I in NY?

You just need to be a spoiler wh*re like me and TB... wildfeeds, screencaps, video clips... hehe I'd seen most of the ep via video clips off a german buffy site long before any of them aired, plus seen screencaps and read like 2 wildfeed summaries and 2 summaries off of rough cut tapes...

Cece=spoiler wh*re

Spoiler-free

I haven't been spoiled this year. Or not really. I've heard who's coming back and stuff and I saw pics from the ep before it aired but I don't know story lines or whats going to happen and I like it this way. It is a more enjoyable viewing experience when I don't know what's to come.

I concur!

I hate the idea of spoilers. For me, the whole fun of a show is being surprised every week, not knowing what's going to happen to whom. My friend read spoilers for all of last season so she knew everything that was going to happen, and she said she thought it was better so that way she knew what to look for. I don't get it, and it also makes it less fun for me to discuss each episode with her b/c she already knows what's gonna happen down the line.

Hit the road, Jack...

Hmm.. Spoilers or no spoilers. Tough question.

I prefer to do the non spoilery thing. But sometimes I cheat. For the season premiere I actually had been very very bad and read a play by play spoiler that was the most detailed thing I've ever managed to stumble across. However, genius brain I have... I managed to forget large important chuncks of the episode by the time it aired. Important good things such as the guest appearance of a favourite...

But it was much badness to be at work listening to a sadistic sister messaging you with "oh my god! This fight scene rocks!" and "OHMYGOD!" and "Wow! I can't believe it!" It gets to the point you wish you could mysteriously manage to give your sister a few of those vicodin you have left over from your prescription.

I would swear to be spoiler free for the entire Buffy season.. but honestly, for me it's not possible. I've got more curiosity than George. Maybe I eat too many banannas.

It's far more fun to spoil things for others WHILE the show is going. Like you're in a movie theater watching CopyCat and it's the end and theres this mega dramatic scene that's created to make the audience jump but you kinda notice something and are kinda wrapped up in the movie so you don't realise that you do, indeed, have a voice that projects.. and you also kinda point your finger...

And then you realise that half the audience is glaring at you and you don't even try to appologise, you just glue your eyes back to the screen as if nothing has happened. You follow the Perfect Strangers mantra. "I am a hollow reed..."

ermmm... I need to go back to work
