Hmm.. Spoilers or no spoilers. Tough question.
I
prefer to do the non spoilery thing. But sometimes I cheat. For the season premiere I actually had been very very bad and read a play by play spoiler that was the most detailed thing I've ever managed to stumble across. However, genius brain I have... I managed to forget large important chuncks of the episode by the time it aired. Important good things such as the guest appearance of a favourite...
But it was much badness to be at work listening to a sadistic sister messaging you with "oh my god! This fight scene rocks!" and "OHMYGOD!" and "Wow! I can't believe it!" It gets to the point you wish you could mysteriously manage to give your sister a few of those vicodin you have left over from your prescription.
I would swear to be spoiler free for the entire Buffy season.. but honestly, for me it's not possible. I've got more curiosity than George. Maybe I eat too many banannas.
It's far more fun to spoil things for others WHILE the show is going. Like you're in a movie theater watching CopyCat and it's the end and theres this mega dramatic scene that's created to make the audience jump but you kinda notice something and are kinda wrapped up in the movie so you don't realise that you do, indeed, have a voice that projects.. and you also kinda point your finger...
And then you realise that half the audience is glaring at you and you don't even try to appologise, you just glue your eyes back to the screen as if nothing has happened. You follow the Perfect Strangers mantra. "I am a hollow reed..."
ermmm... I need to go back to work
