Everyone's done the favourite song thing, but I was wondering, if you could compile a "greatest hits" album containing six tracks from CR, what would your six tracks be.
Bearing in mind I haven't heard them all yet, out of the ones I have heard, my album would have, in no particular order:
Sit Down
More Complex ...
Prime Time
Payback
What We Have Now
Indie Rockin'
It's not easy picking just six! Well, not for me anyway. How about the rest of you?
Alright, I know that I should only choose 6 tracks, but hey I need to have a little of both old school and new school shit. So here it is Naggz's Picks
Vol. 1
Mike's Place
West Song
The Boy - older version
Simple
Hammer and Nail
Cartoon
Vol. 2
Payback
Burgandy
Indie Rockin'
Crowd and I
More Complex...
Did A Verse End?
Ahh, Naggz, to have your early 28OS experience... behold my jealousy!
My list would be, uh:
Offstage Lines
Savior
What We Have Now
Oklahoma
Sit Down
The First Time
It would change daily, I'm sure. But there you go. Shazaaamm!!
Peace out,
~Ang

This is a hard one because
1) There are so many songs to choose from
2) You definitely need 2 volumes because their style (& bassits) have changed so much
3) The planets are not in alignment
4) Naggz, for someone who just started that job, you are clocking alot of time on this board
5) Are we talking about gel in or gel out? You know the hair is an important part of the boy band so are we mixing jazzed up, gel in or mellowed out, gel out?
6) Yes, I know I'm here alot also, but I've hated my job for the past 11 months!
7) Rainbow Trout!
So I would have to have 2 albums to reflect to different bands that are both near and dear to my heart
28 Orange Street:
Common Rotation
The Boy (original)
Cartoon
Mike's Place
Simple (or West Song or 47 Scotsi, I can't make up my mind, but Simple is so good)
As I Wait Up for You (? is this the name of the song, I can't tell you, but that was a great song)
Bonus Covers:
Viper
Dancing Queen
Smooth Operator->I Wear My Sunglasses at Night->"You Don't Win Friends with Salad" chant->Smooth Operator
Common Rotation:
Payback
Oklahoma
Pretty Lights
More Complex Than it Sounds
Savior
One Step Up
Bonus Covers:
Don't Let's Start
Everybody Wants to Rule the World
Here I Go

Tricia, I was reading your list and I couldn't help but laugh at the "You Don't Win Friends With Salad" chant. That's awesome. Now I'm going to have that stuck in my head all day tomorrow...

naggz- no worries, hope you enjoy the show
and, c'mon man, its boBBer....how could you not know that after all these years!
Oooh.. a Greatest Hits album? Cool. Though.. I think I'd prefer to have them NOT have a Greatest Hits for a while.. aren't those out when the band is pretty much done recording new stuff?!
Okay... my Common Ro album would be titled "Anything" 'cause, well, I like that.
The tracks on it would be:
1. Oklahoma
2. Lena
3. Savior
4. Indie Rockin'
5. Offstage Lines
6. Don't let's Start
and as a bonus track
7. Oklahoma - the acoustic version
Tricia - "3) The planets are not in alignment" I love that. Made me grin. Cannot decide if it's the horoscope saying that or a magic 8 ball.

I hate my job so much!!! I would have loved that ticket, but I didn't read this post until today because the web Nazis were out yesterday, learing and such, and in turn I missed a golden opportunity! They are really going down on me lately. Wait, I mean getting down on me, oh fuck it, now a have to use another euphuism due to the sexual innuendo of the last one.
Let's see if I can put it another way; they claim that I need to "think outside the box" and they don't want me to "drop the ball" and maybe I should be more "pro-active" but by their negative "brainstorming" they are setting me up to get caught "behind the eight ball" which would leave me with "mud on my face" and "a day late and a dollar short!" I hate business and their crappy sayings! FYI, people at my job use these phrases everyday!

Sorry Tri

Sorry babe, but when I didn't hear back from you (figuring I would since I posted only a few minutes after you) I talked to my friend Paul (you've met him - Pugs) and he was like, I'll go. You can meet us there if you so desire. The show is $12. Let me know so maybe we can ride together. Don't think that Paul wants to stay too late though, it being a school night and all, so we may split around 12-12:30 or so. Drop me an email at the attached address.
And as a bonus because I couldn't narrow it down any further... Acoustic Oklahoma

Ok, I wasn't gonna reply to this one because it's SO hard to pick 6 songs only! But here's my attempt anyway. I HAVE to do two volumes, one isn't enough.
VOLUME I:
1. "Fortunate"
2. "Rockstar"
3. "Savior"
4. "Offstage Lines"
5. "What We Have Now"
6. "Oklahoma" (unplugged)
VOLUME II:
1. "Dancer"
2. "Burgandy"
3. "All My Time"
4. "The First Time"
5. "Pretty Lights"
6. "Payback" (w/ rant)
Wow, that was hard! I think divied up the songs pretty evenly among both Volumes though :P
